 The mountain of Aonach Mor lies within the Ben Nevis and Glencoe National Scenic Area, much of the mountain is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, consequently we attract many educational groups who are interested in learning more about this fantastic environment.
Whatever your age or background, Nevis Range aims to enhance your knowledge of our natural resource - Aonach Mor. We strive to educate visitors old and young about the geology, biology, climate and history of this somewhat unique environment.
The Mountain Discovery Centre, located at the top station, was created with the objective of educating adults and children alike, about the wildlife, mountain habitat and landscape that surround us. Interpretation panels, interactive displays and video footage all aid in the learning experience.
If your school or university are particularly interested in a specific subject area we are more than happy to prepare an appropriate presentation or handout for your group, however we do require prior notice and request that you contact us in advance to arrange your visit.
