BASI held its annual European Speed Test on Monday and Tuesday at Nevis Range. Skiers and boarders at Nevis Range were enthralled by the high calibre and skills as the entrants demonstrated control of speed and line on the giant slalom course set up on the Goose. The test is an integral part of the training of Ski Instructors in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria and the UK and part of the International Ski Teacher Diploma, BASI’s highest level of qualification. Run to strict rules on an international basis and validated by the State in which the test is held.
