The
mountain habitat on Aonach Mor is unique, and what better
way to explore the flora, fauna and wildlife, than on foot.
Venture along one of the established mountain trails, which
lead to panoramic viewpoints, and splendour in the spectacular
views, which on a clear day can extend as far as the Inner
Hebrides.
Both mountain trails are relatively easy walks enabling all our visitors, young and old alike, to enjoy and appreciate the experience and the true magnificence and ruggedness of the Scottish Highlands.
Sgurr Finnisg-aig is the shorter of the
two trails, taking approximately 20 minutes return.
This is an excellent viewpoint, which looks out across the
Great Glen and Hills of Knoydart, you can also look back to
the impressive overshadowing mass of Carn Mor Dearg and Ben
Nevis.
Meal
Beag is a slightly longer trail, taking approximately 40 minutes
return. This trail leads visitors in the opposite direction
from where the views across Loch Linnhe, Loch Eil, the hills
of Ardgour and Moidart are simply stunning.
Whichever route you choose you are guaranteed
to witness some of the most spectacular scenery that exists
throughout the Scottish Highlands!!
