| Being the newest of the five Scottish Ski Centres, the modern facilities at this well-designed resort offer outstanding opportunities for a wide range of abilities and a great deal of fun in the snow to be had by all! You will find everything you need onsite for a great day on the slopes, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm !!
Whether you are a complete beginner, taking to the slopes for the first time, or an experienced skier/boarder looking to improve your technique, the Nevis Range Ski and Board School Instructors will put you at ease. Our Instructors are all I.S.I.A. qualified and aim to offer all standards of skiers and boarders the best possible learning experience.
Standard group lessons for up to 10 people
take place both in the morning and afternoon, however for
the more personal touch you can book a private lesson for
yourself and ensure you gain the most from this experience.
Special private lessons are also available for those under
7 years.
There are various packages available, which can work out very cost effective if looking for lessons, equipment hire and lift passes. With all lessons and packages we do suggest you book in advance, especially for weekends and holidays, to save disappointment.
Our onsite equipment hire workshop will ensure all you needs are catered for, from carving skis, snowboards, blades, boots, poles, adult ski suits and children's helmets; if we don't have exactly what you are looking for we will do our utmost to point you in the right direction!
The workshop is open daily from 08.30, 08.00 at weekends and holidays, however we suggest you arrive early at weekends and peak periods to avoid the queues!! Equipment can only be reserved when booking packages with the Ski and Board School.
For the younger visitors who are not quite ready to take to the slopes or the older visitors who are still young at heart, sledges can be hired from the Nevisport shop at the top station!!
We have a highly dedicated and professional team of BASP trained patrollers to hand, who provide first aid and emergency care on and off the slopes - free of charge!! The centre is well equipped with medical rooms at both the top and bottom gondola stations, so whether you perform an amazing tumble on the slopes or have a minor accident we have friendly staff to tend your every need.
The mountain is well equipped with places to refuel during your day on the slopes, a sit down meal in the Snowgoose Restaurant, a warming drink or snack on the slopes at one of the T-huts, or a après ski beverage in the bar afterwards!
There are no childcare facilities at Nevis
Range, however, there are various local childcare providers
who will look after younger members of your family whilst
you enjoy a day on the slopes. For a list of local services
