Nevis Range sits on the mountain of Aonach Mor the 8th highest peak in Britain, 7 miles north of Fort William in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
You can cycle or walk to Nevis Range from Fort William along the pathway which follows the A82, signpost to Inverness. Once the pathway reaches Torlundy, it turns to the right, away from the A82 and goes through Leanachan Forest to Nevis Range.
The number 41 bus service operates between Nevis Range, Fort William and Spean Bridge. This service will allow skis and snowboards on board. For times browse the timetable or call Stagecoach on 01463 239292. This service may not operate during the Nevis Range maintenance period, from mid November to mid December.
Nevis Range is located 7 miles north of Fort William, on the A82 to Inverness. It is well signposted, and the access road to Nevis Range is a wide, good quality road; if you turn into a track, then you are on the wrong road. Our postcode is PH33 6SQ, however this is a new postcode, so please be aware that it takes time for all the Sat Navs to account for this new information. The old postcode directed Sat Nav users to a small car park in Leanachan Forest, causing considerable confusion! If you are driving, we recommend watching out for the traditional Brown Tourist Signposting.
