Celebrating 20 Years of 10 Under the Ben!

Join us in 2026 as we mark 20 incredible years of 10 Under the Ben – Nevis Range’s legendary endurance mountain biking event.

Since 2006, this event has been a firm favourite in the calendar, bringing together riders from across the world for a full day of mountain biking beneath the stunning backdrop of Ben Nevis.

An endurance race like no other, Riders will take on a challenging course over 10 hours with each lap featuring approximately 400 metres climbing in each loop, tackling a mix of our Lower Trails. Whether you choose to ride solo, a pair or as part of a team, this is a true test of endurance, determination, and trail spirit.

Expect a buzzing atmosphere, epic scenery, and a warm welcome – all part of what makes 10 Under the Ben such a special experience.

Event Information

Below is all the essential information you need ahead of the event.

Event Minimum Age 12

Classification Type:  M/F/X: U16 / U18 / SEN / VET / MIX.

E-Bikes – Can E-bikes be entered? No

Gondola Access Required? No, the entire race takes place on our lower trails, so gondola access is not needed.

Friday 24th April:
  • Registration: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday, 25th April:
  • Registration: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Rider Briefing: 9:00 AM outside the Café /  Hub
  • Race Start: 9:30 AM
  • Last Lap: 7:30 PM
  • Race End: 8:30 PM
  • Prize Ceremony 9PM–  (This may start earlier if all the riders have finished)

How Timing Works at 10 Under the Ben

Every rider or team will be issued a timing chip to track their laps throughout the event.

  • Solo riders will each receive their own timing chip, which stays with them for the full 10 hours and records every lap they complete.

  • Pairs and teams will receive one chip per team, which must be handed over between teammates at the end of each lap. Only the rider carrying the chip will have their lap counted — so while you can ride with your teammates for fun, only the chip-holder’s lap will be recorded.

If you’d prefer to ride alongside your friends for the whole event, we recommend entering as solo riders — that way, each person gets their own chip and all laps will count individually.

Marshals:

We currently have a full team of marshals for the event. Should we need additional volunteers, we will announce it on our Nevis Range Facebook Page. Please stay tuned for any updates!

Trail Information:

The 10 Under the Ben course from the day before will be used 10 Under the Ben Junior, for the more narrow and technical parts of the course, diversions will be in place for junior riders.

Parking & Accommodation:

£6.00 per vehicle, available on a first-come, first-served basis (pay on the day)
