The Puggy Loop – 10km

Enjoy a gentle yet satisfying ride after getting comfortable on your bikes, travelling through the heart of Leanachan forest along the old ‘Puggy line’ trail. Learn about the history of the trail and the forest whilst enjoying great views of the Great Glen and on a sunny day even out towards Glenfinnan. This guided ride is great for those looking to get into nature and get off the beaten path a little.

Up for a little more challenge? Then check out our North Face of Ben Nevis Viewpoint Guided Tours!

North Face of Ben Nevis Viewpoint – 13km

Climb up to see the famous North Face of Ben Nevis, passing classic Nevis Range trails along the way on a mix of fire road climbs and non-technical singletrack paths. This ride offers stunning panoramic views of the Lochaber area really giving you a sense of being out in the hills and finishes with a nice ride back through the forest to our mountain gondola base station.

If you’re looking for a longer journey with equally as stunning views then check out our Glen Nevis and Dun Deardail Guided tours!

Glen Nevis and Dun Deardail – 30km

Take a ride out through our forest along the ‘Puggy line’ and deep into Glen Nevis, climbing up to the remnants of a vitrified Iron Age fort at 314m above sea level. From here, you can experience amazing views of the south face of Ben Nevis, Stob Ban, Sgùrr a’Mhàim and the river Nevis. Retrace your steps with your guide and sample some of the exhilarating blue mountain bike trails we have to offer! This ride is a full day and includes a couple of extended climbs and descents, therefore some bike riding experience and fitness is required.

After something a bit more technical but pressed for time? Check out our Cour Loop Guided Tours!

Take a ride towards Spean Bridge along the Cour loop, experience gorgeous views of the Grey Corries and see some of the remaining bridges constructed in the early 1900s for the Puggy Line, the narrow-gauge railway that spanned the length of the forest. This ride follows trails that require good bike handling skills and some off-road bike riding experience.
