The majority of our turnover is generated during the summer months, driven by visitors using the gondola, trails, and wider mountain activities.

Snowsports operations themselves are highly dependent on weather and are not consistently profitable on their own. As a result, the ability to operate in winter is closely linked to the strength of the business across the rest of the year.
Winter also carries significant fixed costs, regardless of how many days we are able to open. Lifts must be maintained, equipment prepared, and trained teams ready to respond at short notice.
This means that opening for a short period is not a simple decision. It requires the same level of preparation as a longer operating window, but without the same opportunity to recover those costs.
For that reason, decisions around opening are based not only on whether snow is present, but whether conditions allow for a safe, continuous, and worthwhile period of operation.
